Background
Turbo Go is a hotel management app serving over 200 properties in Vietnam. The old dashboard crammed too much information onto a single screen, requiring staff to perform many unnecessary steps to complete simple tasks.
Problem Statement
Three main pain points identified through user interviews:
- No immediate visibility of real-time room status
- Check-in process required 4–5 unnecessary steps
- End-of-day reports had to be exported manually
Design Process
1. Discovery
Interviewed 12 receptionists and 4 managers over 2 weeks. Finding: 80% of their time was spent on 3 core features — viewing room status, check-in/out, and daily revenue.
2. Information Architecture
Restructured navigation around the user’s mental model rather than technical modules.

3. Wireframe & Prototype
Tested 3 different layouts for the main screen. The “command center” layout was selected after testing with 8 users.
Results
After 6 weeks post-launch:
- Check-in time reduced from 4 minutes to 90 seconds
- Task completion rate increased from 71% to 94%
- Staff CSAT score increased by 28 points
